Dirty Delt dig deep at Retallack Rampage

On a cold Saturday morning on the 18th November, 9 intrepid Delt employees headed deep into the heart of Cornwall with mud on their mind. They were set to join nearly 350 runners to take on the Retallack Rampage, a gruelling 7.5 kilometre race with over 40 obstacles between them and the finish line.

Tyres, mud, 2m walls, cargo nets, a lake and even more mud were just some of the obstacles awaiting our team as they took to the start line. The team stayed together and in high spirits from beginning to end, inspiring each other at each challenge to push harder and rise up to the tests in front of them.

Katja Bush, Project Delivery Coordinator, said “It was freezing cold but it was amazing and I would definitely recommend the experience.”

Senior Network Engineer, Nick Franklin added “It brings a whole new meaning to a ‘dirty weekend’…”

With participants from multiple teams in Delt it’s great to see our own brand of culture and engagement helping to form new friendships and strong bonds around the office which further proves that Delt Shared Services is fast becoming the place to work in the South West.
